National Hive Crown Board Feeder
Made of top-quality polystyrene, it combines lightness, durability, and resistance to weather conditions. The material provides excellent thermal insulation, while its exceptionally low weight makes transport easy. The design allows multiple hive floors to be stacked in columns, saving significant storage space. Every exposed surface that could be gnawed or sealed with propolis is protected with a thick layer of synthetic foil.
The feeder has a capacity of 6 L (7 L if adjusted appropriately)
The Burnat Crown Board Feeder is designed to be mounted on the top hive body and fits perfectly under the Burnat Deep Roof.
The interior bottom of the feeder is reinforced with a plastic film, and its slope toward the grill ensures that sugar syrup flows easily in that direction. A clear measurement scale on the side allows you to fill the feeder to the desired level and monitor the rate at which bees consume the food.
The protective grill, consisting of two parts, is secured with three screws. This design ensures that bees cannot get past the barrier while keeping the cover easy to remove for cleaning. The vertical section of the grill is rounded at the bottom to allow syrup to flow freely.
Two longitudinal openings give the bees easy access to the food. The size of the openings ensures proper airflow, allowing the Burnat Crown Board Feeder to effectively replace a standard Crown Board with Ventilation Holes.
Each hive body is made from high-density expanded polystyrene (160 kg/m³)
